Britain’s Rushby and George take over Future Six Days lead

The British duo Max Rushby and Alfred George will defend a robust lead on the final day of the AVS Cup, the Future Six Days in Ghent. On Saturday they took over from fellow countrymen Oliver Stockwell and Oscar Nilsson-Julien.

Rushby and George amassed 101 points, compared to 79 points for their fellow British competitors. The German duo Arne Birkemose and Tim Torn Teutenberg are third with 76 points. Belgians Michael Steyaert and Siebe Deweirdt are the last team on the lead lap in sixth, with 26 points. The remaining teams are out of contention for the overall win.
